Jonathan Baum has more than 35 years of experience as a corporate, securities and finance lawyer including many years organizing and managing legal teams.

Notable career achievements

• Practiced as a securities, corporate and finance lawyer at Fenwick & West
• Served eight years as general counsel to a US fund manager pursuing alternative investment strategies
• Served as senior counsel to one of the largest financial services bankruptcies
• Served as Senior Vice President concentrating on asset-based financing in the Corporate Finance Group at E. F. Hutton & Company, Inc. and its successor, Shearson Lehman Brothers
• Launched Avenir Law
