Areas of Practice

We believe one of core competencies is identifying what we know and what we don’t. Simple as it sounds, some of the worst “accidents” in legal representation can happen when counsel strays into an area full of “unknown unknowns”. We are never embarrassed, however, to raise our hands when appropriate and say this one isn’t for us. But before modesty gets the better of us, here is a list of subjects we know well and enjoy:

Early Stage:

Who said newborns aren’t fun?

Asset Management and Funds:

We’ve been involved in fund formation (domestic and off-shore), regulatory and portfolio management issues for a long time. In addition, Jonathan’s background as the general counsel of an asset management firm pursing an alternative strategy as well as his years in the corporate finance department of a “bulge bracket” firm give him the perspective of life on the inside.

Crisis Management:

Shift happens. And when it does we have the experience and resources to assist clients in stabilizing the situation, marshaling the appropriate resources and putting the fire out.
